CUS FI INTERNAL REGULATIONS

Art. 1 – These regulations govern the use of CUS Firenze sports facilities located at Via Vittoria della Rovere no. 40, Via delle Montalve 21/L and at the Val di Rose facility at Via Lazzerini 217 in Sesto Fiorentino, by members of the Association.

Art. 2 – The purposes of the Association are the introduction to sports and the promotion of physical and sporting activity.

Art. 3 – All students and employees of the University of Florence, and members of affiliated associations, may be admitted to use CUS Firenze sports facilities and related services.

Art. 4 – To obtain CUS Firenze membership, you must present to the Office a document* certifying enrollment at the university for the current academic year (employee card for University Employees) and a medical certificate for non-competitive sports activity. The non-refundable membership fee will be established at the beginning of each new sports season by the CUS Firenze Board of Directors and approved by the University Sports Committee. Following these procedures, the student will receive a non-transferable photo badge that is strictly personal and must always be shown when accessing the facilities or, upon request, presented to authorized personnel. Anyone found without a membership card during activities may be removed from the facility by authorized personnel. Membership runs from September through July of the following year. Pursuant to art. 10 of Law 31/12/96 no. 675, containing provisions for “Protection of individuals and other subjects with respect to the processing of personal data,” you are informed that the data provided at the time of registration will be processed in compliance with the aforementioned regulations and confidentiality obligations. Such data will therefore be processed exclusively for institutional purposes. The following are valid for registration: university tuition payment receipts; university card (only for first-year students); certificate of university enrollment (the printout downloaded from the SOL service on the UNIFI website is also acceptable); declaration from the head of the specialization course.

Art. 5 – All users may take advantage of activities organized by CUS Firenze. For all free courses, attendance is open except for volleyball, basketball, tennis, climbing and free swimming, which require registration. For these types of registration, you must present yourself in person at the CUS Firenze Office or register online through the website www.cusfirenze.com

Art. 6 – Each user has the right to use the locker rooms with hot and cold water showers, as well as restrooms, with maximum respect for decorum, hygiene and protection of the facilities and furnishings.

Art. 7 – CUS Firenze is not responsible for any theft or damage to personal items left unattended in the locker rooms or inside the sports facilities.

Art. 8 – Users must attend the facilities with appropriate sports clothing to protect the equipment and ensure the safety of individuals. In particular, it is mandatory to bring your own towel when using the weight rooms and to wear sports shoes for indoor use only.

Art. 9 – When using the facilities and participating in scheduled activities, users must observe proper discipline and follow the instructions of Instructors and CUS Firenze personnel. In particular, they must show maximum respect for the facilities and equipment, as well as the schedules and procedures for the various activities. Those who commit infractions or cause damage to property or persons will be reported to the CUS Firenze Board of Directors and the University for possible action.

Art. 10 – Users who have completed the formalities required by the previous art. 4 are individually insured. For all accidents not covered by the insurance regulations, CUS Firenze is released from all liability. Any incidents must be reported to FederCUSI (INSURANCE – FederCUSI) within 24 hours of the date of occurrence.
